Isaiah sat by me on the couch today and we read Calvin and Hobbs comics. Even though his age prevents him from getting most of the jokes, he was thrilled at all of Calvin's antics and alter-egos. He certainly identified with a little boy who loves water ballons, hates baths, has a pet tiger, dresses up in a cape as Stupendous Man, and pretends to be the space fighter Spaceman Spiff.
