Friday night we went on a date! Just dinner and a movie, but it was still fantastic to get away, get out of the evening chores of dinner, dishes, baths, and putting the kids to bed. We enjoyed a quiet dinner at a restaurant not having to retrieve forks and napkins from the floor or mopping up any spilled cups of water. But being away from my sweeties does make me enjoy the little things more when I'm home. I'll give them extra kisses tonight when I tuck them in.
