Monday I began a three-day stint of sewing a batman costume with the help of two fabulous neighbor friends. Yes, it's for Isaiah, and though it's a little early for Halloween, I hope he doesn't wear it out before then. I've never sewn clothes before, so it was a fun learning experience. I can now put in sleeves, sew up an inseam, and make little shorts.

One year Mom and I made pajama costumes for Isaac, Eleanor and Michael. They really did try to wear them out. They were there favorite thing to wear for years (literally years). I finally took them out of their drawers because the pants were nearly shorts and the shirts showed their mid-drifts. I am sure Isaiah will probably be the same with his costume; like Seth being "Pooperman." Kids are so cute!
