"In words, like weeds, I'll wrap me o'er,
Like coarsest clothes against the cold"

While in the middle of canning peaches for seven hours yesterday, the kids and I took a break to sit on the front lawn and wait for the garbage lady. Always a highlight of the week in a house with kids (especially boys). Isaiah danced across the lawn and Charlotte sat in my lap and we played "this little piggy." Then came the garbage lady. She saw our little party camped on the lawn and waved heartily.
