Mainly for the relief of feeling civically responsible, we went to the early voting poll at the library on Saturday afternoon. The workers were sweet to our kids and gave them candy and extra stickers. Afterward we found a pile of picture books to read through, my favorite being Aunt Nancy and Old Man Trouble. It reminded me to try to have a better attitude when everything is just plain frustrating.
