"In words, like weeds, I'll wrap me o'er,
Like coarsest clothes against the cold"

After a flurry of practices on Saturday and many pencil edits to the typed script, we successfully pulled off the primary program on Sunday. The chapel and overflow were filled with less active families and grandparents all wanting to see their kids recite a line. Isaiah was "that Sunbeam" that is hilarious to watch. He waved at both his dad and his sister, poked the kids next to him, sat when he should stand and vice versa, and shouted out his line into the microphone with a lot of glee and enthusiasm. It was awesome. I helped out the Sunbeam teacher by sneaking the little ones mini marshmallows during the long stretches and by trying to keep Isaiah in check. Overall, it was awesome to see those little children bear their testimonies and sing about Jesus.
