Saturday I returned to Provo and BYU for the first time in a few years. I've missed it! It was especially fun to drive past a few of my old apartments. We went on a fun date to see the Carl Bloch exhibit at the BYU art museum, which was spectacular. The paintings depicting scenes of Christ's life are so spiritual. Although a lot of people were walking through the exhibit, it was very reverent and everyone spoke in hushed tones. I was impressed that this free exhibit in Provo was so much more reverent than when we saw the Sistine Chapel in Italy. BYU and the Church do amazing things. I wish we would have had more time to visit more of the campus and see the new alumni building and the library. I'm a sucker for a good library. Maybe next time.
