We decided to try out Thursday nights for dates, since last Friday was so crazy out about town. We got dressed up in our Sunday best, left the kids with a sweet babysitter, and set off for the temple. We were amazed we got such good parking! And amazed that we seemed to be the only couple walking into the temple at 7 pm, suitcases in hand. And then completely amazed that the temple was closed for cleaning, a scant month before it's closed for total renovation. Ah, what were we to do? We'd already eaten dinner. So we went to a movie theater in Ogden, in our church clothes, and saw Tangled, the fabulous new Disney spin on Rapunzel. We had the entire theater to ourselves. It was a great movie. Then we went out for molten chocolate cake with fudge sauce and ice cream.
