"In words, like weeds, I'll wrap me o'er,
Like coarsest clothes against the cold"

Mother's Day was on Sunday and unfortunately the house was a disaster, but fortunately Seth made me waffles, my favorite. Sadly, neither child wanted to go to church and Charlotte was sick and threw up all over, but happily she wanted to be held by me and sit in my lap for hours. She cuddled with me and slept while we watched a movie in the afternoon. Isaiah colored a darling card for me in sharing time; he drew a picture of me and him holding hands. (Although that's what I asked him to draw, his little drawn figures melt my heart.) Seth bought hanging baskets of flowers for my gift and I'm sure they'll look lovely all summer.
