Thursday Cortney came to crochet club and showed me the darling amigurumi animals she's making. I realized I'm still working a single sock animal and have been for over a month. We chatted about babies and disciplining 4-year-olds, and our summer plans. After she left I decided to finish my sock bear, which Isaiah quickly wanted. "Who's that for mom? Is it for me? Can it be mine?" he begged. He chose a bright yellow smile and a star for a belly button. It was so cute I decided to quickly make Charlotte a matching purple one. Now they carry their twin bears happily through the house.
