Yesterday I bought spikey dracaena's, dark purple petunias, and variegated trailing vines to put in the flower pots by my front door. When I came home Isaiah and Charlotte eagerly helped me plant them. Isaiah kept asking how I would make them all fit (I always buy too many...the back porch ended up with a few flower pots, too) and Charlotte was keen on seeing what was in the large bag of potting soil. Dirt, hmmm, pretty boring. She ran off to play on the neighbor's steps and Isaiah helped me stake the drip lines in the soil (the pots will now be watered automatically!). I hope they look gorgeous all summer.
