"In words, like weeds, I'll wrap me o'er,
Like coarsest clothes against the cold"

Yesterday Isaiah's preschool held a little Mother's Day party for their Moms. When I came in, Isaiah helped me find a seat, then sat happily in his little chair with all of the other kids. He kept glancing to make sure I was watching. They sang cute little songs about how much they loved their mothers, then paraded around in a circle, chose a tulip from a vase, and said, "If mothers were flowers, I'd pick you." Then he brought me my flower. He also gave me a picture he drew of me and said that I was as pretty as curly hair. Oh, it was sweet.
