Wednesday morning I decided it was time to clean out my exercise room, since there's nothing to do but stare at all its horror while I occasionally ride the elliptical. It's in an unfinished corner of the basement where empty cardboard boxes and unused furniture go to die, and cobwebs go to multiply, cover the ceiling, and attract vast amounts of dust. I pulled everything out of the room, literally swept the ceiling, vacuumed the walls and floor, and made a big pile of things to donate. The paint canvases, Christmas tree, and folded boxes all went in one corner, while the stationary bike, elliptical, and weight bench lined up neatly along one wall. Ah, order.
