Yesterday was Isaiah's first day of preschool. He was so excited to go, especially after the open house last week went so well. (He even got a balloon animal from an enthusiastic clown.) I couldn't get him to comb his hair, but at least he wore nice clothes. He went right in and started playing and didn't even seem bothered at me leaving him. I cried, of course, but I guess that was to be expected.

My neighbor's tiny little preschooler boarded the bus for the first time this week. So strange to think of him on a bus, all short-legged and wide-eyed (but happy) with his little backpack. We really have to let our kids grow up? Alas :)
