Seth decided it was time to trim the backyard pine tree, since none of us are 3 feet tall anymore. He cut off enough boughs to fill the 4-Runner (a useful vehicle for once) and Isaiah asked him if he was making lots of little Christmas trees. The smell was heavenly. Later on Saturday I drove myself and a lot of memories to Riverton for a reunion of my Jacob Lake Inn friends, where I worked for a crazy summer 10 years ago. We all laughed really hard at my old photos and remembering things like riding in the cattle truck, 4 am sunrises at the Grand Canyon, and climbing the fire tower. I am so glad that I went. It's good to remember happy adventures.
