Yesterday Isaiah wanted to build a snowman, so I dressed him up in his gear and laid on the couch. "But you have to come with me," he said, "because I don't know where to find a carrot." He's learned a lot about Frosty the Snowman in the past few weeks. So I went out with him, only to find the fluffy snow to light for packing. We ran around and made tracks and snow angels though. And this morning, we had inches of perfect "snowman snow." He and Seth went out immediately after breakfast and made a gigantic snowman, named Frosty. I sent them out a long carrot nose and two button eyes. Isaiah was so thrilled he danced and played around Frosty for almost an hour, and I even saw him give his snowman a hug.
