Last week I spent countless hours piecing yet another quilt for my friend Donna. Actually this one is for her niece. I made snowball blocks interspersed with lattice, and for a modern top boarder, I even taught myself how to machine applique. I sewed on free-form flowers and stems with a dizzying zig-zag stitch. I'm rather impressed with the finished product! I hope Katie likes it!
