Today for Granny Club we had a bread class at my house. I showed Kelly and Cortney how to make quick and easy artisan bread. I had them dress in cute aprons (very important for good bread), showed them how to use the wheat grinder (an impressively loud appliance), and let them knead and shape their own ball of dough. Then we baked them and ate an entire loaf warm with butter. Cortney loved that you can use the dough for homemade pizza, and gave me the idea to also try it with soft pretzels. I'll have to make those next week.

Two of my friends and I started a Crochet Club. Then we found out we're all interested in granny hobbies like breadmaking, shopping at DI, gardening, quilting, etc. So now we just call it Granny Club and rotate our activities.

And you would make an awesome addition! You could teach us all of your cool crochet patterns! I wish you guys lived closer.
