Yesterday we went grocery shopping, and at first I despaired that all of the car carts were gone. The kids love driving in the front of those with their steering wheels and beeping horns. But, I noticed instead the small, kiddy-size shopping carts that are perfect for children Isaiah's age. I gave him one and explained, "Look, this is your own little shopping cart to push. You can help me shop! Organize it neatly with all your things." Then I let him stack the cereal boxes, strawberries, yogurts, pepperoni, bananas, and pasta all in his cart. He loved it! It was so adorable to see him pushing his little cart, following along behind me, and filling it up with groceries.
