Like coarsest clothes against the cold"

Today Isaiah and I built a lego pyramid and a giant lego beetle from one of his little lego sets that he has. We're missing a few pieces, but I managed to make a substitute limb for one of the beetle's missing legs. That made Isaiah pretty happy. Earlier in the morning, Charlotte had dumped out all of her legos on the floor, along with the pieces to about 10 puzzles. But she snuggled up next to me and we read a few favorite stories, like But No Elephants and One Fish, Two Fish. It's nice to just be with them both, despite the toys strewn all over the house.
