Thursday we went shoe shopping, which is always a highlight for my kids. Today it was Charlotte's turn and all I did was push the cart past the shoe aisle and she held out her feet and started whining. I couldn't talk her into any sensible shoes (she's so much like me) so we settled on silver mary jane's and then she fell in love with a pair of flowery, rubber galoshes. A size too big, she clomped through the entire store in them, refusing to ride in the cart or be carried. I figure that she'll grow into them soon enough and they are much smaller than Isaiah's boots, which she frequently wears around the house anyway.

Living through our daughters' wardrobes is a fun way to get dressed more than once a day...and wear adorable shoes :) (Or, in my case, fix long curly hair :)
